Staytel

The location gets 5/5 from me. It’s hard to be more central, about a five-minute walk from the train station and close to the pedestrian shopping street and nightlife. The service also gets 5/5. It’s always neat and clean, and you see the staff every day doing a careful job of cleaning. There’s even a game console for the young at heart 😁 And 5/5 for the room setup. I often use Airbnb for quick overnight stays, and being able to check myself in at any hour is really handy. This is the first time I’ve had my own bathroom and toilet instead of sharing them with other residents.

There’s a roomy common area, kitchen, mini-gym and laundry room inside. You can check in yourself at any hour using the coded key box. It’s a very nice hostel, just a short walk from the town’s main pedestrian street. Avis car rental is about five minutes away on foot.

Booking and staying through Messenger, without meeting an owner in person, was a funny setup. The room was very hot on a hot day, and there was a fairly strong smell of cleaning products. The shared fridge and freezer really need emptying!! Still, it was quick to book, cheap, and great for the price when you need somewhere to stay because the Fanø ferry has been cancelled.

A really good stay. The room and living room were very clean, and had all the equipment needed.
