Hotel Mayfair

Hotel Mayfair was surprisingly quiet at night, and its location made it easy to explore on foot or use the train and metro. I paid a bit more to upgrade my room and thought it was worth it. The decor is great, the bed was very comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. I liked being able to open the window for fresh air and adjust the temperature, and the large screen with Chromecast was a real plus. The shower is a little tight for a bigger person, though leaving the door open helps.

The reception team were all so friendly and helpful, and everyone we dealt with from booking through checkout did their best to make our stay a good one. We had a spacious, comfortable, nicely presented room at Hotel Mayfair. It’s right by the station and an easy walk to the center. We had a great stay, thank you!

The staff were amazing throughout our three days at Hotel Mayfair. They brought breakfast up to my partner when pain made it too difficult for her to come downstairs, helped us with bags and steps because she now uses a wheelchair, and provided a sewing kit and a couple of plug adapters we’d forgotten to bring. It’s an old building and isn’t designed for wheelchair access, but everyone was incredibly accommodating, which we really appreciated. Breakfast had a great selection, especially the sausages, bacon, and pastries. Our room was clean and a good size, and we enjoyed the hotel’s colorful, funky Scandinavian decor. It’s a short walk to the station, Tivoli Gardens, and the city center. Tivoli Gardens was closed during our visit. Nearby there’s a supermarket, a 7-Eleven, and Better Bakery, whose Brown Sugar Cakes were lovely. We loved Copenhagen and hope to return soon. If we do, we’ll try to book Hotel Mayfair again.

The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom shower worked well. Breakfast had an excellent selection, so you won’t go hungry. Staff were friendly and obliging. It’s a simple, classic hotel in a really convenient location. They were building a new outdoor area during our December visit, which should be lovely for breakfast outside in summer.
