Spisestedet Tjebberup

Right in the middle of a Senior Village, this is a special place. It’s quiet and peaceful at this time of year, and good for a few relaxing days. The room was nice, with a fridge, TV, Wi-Fi, and a large bathroom. You can also use the kitchen and living room.

The bedroom had a double bed and a small fridge, plus free Wi-Fi and a TV. There was also a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and mirror, if anyone’s interested.

It was quiet, and the small room was functional, with a fridge and a good bathroom. It felt a bit cramped at the back, looking out at a little fence and gardens. If you’re claustrophobic, it might feel tighter than the more open rooms at the front. We skipped breakfast, but I think 200 kr per day is a bit much. We weren’t told that there’d be no cleaning during the week, which would’ve been good to know. There was only one small towel and one slightly larger one, so we’d brought extras from home. We also missed having a bath mat. The towels we bought can’t dry like new ones. Dinner was cancelled when we arrived, but fortunately some other guests sympathized with us. A message had arrived on the man’s phone that afternoon, but he hadn’t seen it since he doesn’t keep checking it. So he got in the car and went to Holbæk to find a restaurant.

I hadn’t been to Spisestedet for a while. The food was fantastically delicious, and there was lots of it. Best of all was a tartelette with fresh new asparagus and homemade “skal”. It was the best and biggest tartelette I’ve ever had.
