The hosts were attentive to everything we needed and suggested supermarkets, restaurants, and excursions. Their lovingly restored farmhouse was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and the family were kind and charming. Breakfast was homemade by them and exceptional. A stream runs beside the house, with other farmhouses around it, and a fjord nearby where we had a lovely afternoon. There’s also a garden with a table, chairs, and barbecue. After busy days, it was lovely to return and relax in nature. Odense is just a 10-minute drive away, making this a wonderful base for visiting.

The owner was incredibly accommodating when I asked about using a metal detector nearby. He gave permission right away, said he had more land, and even moved the cows so I could search. We enjoyed that a lot. It’s a very relaxed B&B, peacefully set between fields and grassland. Everything was there for a comfortable stay, and we didn’t miss a thing. Breakfast was delicious and the beds were blissful.
