Milling Hotel Windsor

The location was really nice, and the price was decent. Breakfast was good too. The room was small but okay, though the hotel itself is old and could use a renovation.

The location right in the middle of beautiful Odense was the only real positive for me. After three weeks travelling around Europe and staying in many hotels, this was a big disappointment. It felt run down and not very clean, and the staff were rude. The hotel looks shabby and is at least 25 years overdue for renovation. In our room, the curtains were half hanging down and the lamps didn’t work. Hardly worth the price.

The self-serve beer in the common room was the best part 😁. Breakfast was good and there was a lot of it, though I’d have liked it to run later than 10 am. The room was small and creamy, but cozy enough and fine for a day.

This is a very basic hotel close to the city center. My room was on the top floor in the attic, and the ham they make overnight left the hotel smelling, with the smell potentially getting into a room like mine. Still, changing rooms, or even changing hotels, wasn’t a problem in my case. The overnight staff were very friendly and helpful.
