The room had a good sized fridge, and the downstairs bed was made of two beds side by side that could be separated for more space. But I wouldn't trust the accessibility or safety here. We booked after emailing about accommodations for my grandma, who struggles with stairs, and were told the room was accessible. When we arrived, we were put on the second floor. The lobby was closed, so we couldn't get help getting into our room. The three upstairs beds were all in one room with too few power outlets. The wooden floors creaked loudly, and the stairs up to those beds were steep and unsafe. I fell down them and got a bruise the size of my palm. This room might work for families, but those problems were serious for us. Update: The owner replied without reading what I'd written. My family had emailed about accommodations and still got this room, and reception was closed when we arrived, so there was no one to help. The reply wasn't helpful. Next time, say sorry instead of blaming the customer, or better yet, don't respond.

The old city is lovely and only a five minute walk away. There are some playgrounds, but no swimming pool or anything like that. The apartments have plenty of room, though sound carries easily, especially over the wood covered floor areas. There's also only one bedroom, which makes you rethink the arrangements when traveling with a child.

These apartments are comfortable, clean and well equipped, and work really well for families with small children. It's a ten minute walk to the city centre. A nearby grocery store would make the place even better.

The modern Byferie apartments are comfortable and lovely for families, and Ribe's city centre is within walking distance. Ribe Byferie makes a great base for enjoying the sights and activities of Wadden Sea National Park (Nationalpark Vadehavet), stretching along Denmark's west coast from the German border to Blåvands Huk north of Esbjerg. Highly recommend it.

The apartment is beautiful, and Laila and Klaus are wonderful hosts who respond quickly when you need something. We come to Ribe every year to see family, and this place was recently renovated and made available to rent. Its spot in the heart of the historic district is perfect, with a view of the main church from the breakfast area. Everything we wanted to see, along with lovely cafes and shops, was walkable. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ribe or the surrounding area.
