Motel One Copenhagen

After long days walking around Copenhagen, the bed was very comfortable and made for a good night's sleep. The location was great, with easy access to many of the city’s highlights. My only reason for not giving five stars is that our cozy room lacked a couple of useful extras, like a kettle or small fridge.

Breakfast was brilliant, with lots of variety, fresh bread, and a great atmosphere in the breakfast room. The facilities were good too, but the small “cosy” room really only has space for one. Be prepared for the shower to flood the ensuite.

Motel One is a lovely place to get out of Copenhagen’s cold, dark streets. The lounge feels comfortable, with a couch, magazines, board games, and blankets to borrow if you get chilly. There’s also a bar in the lobby that looked really nice and had staff there all night, though I didn’t buy anything. The staff were relaxed and let people enjoy the lounge without bothering them, which I appreciated. I’d HIGHLY recommend it :)

Motel One Copenhagen offers good value in a desirable spot, steps from major attractions, trendy cafés, and transport links. Its interiors mix Scandinavian simplicity with modern touches, natural colors, and sleek furnishings, creating a calm feel. Though it’s a three-star hotel, the service felt like more: staff were warm, professional, and efficient from arrival to departure. The rooms are compact but very clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds, effective soundproofing, and thoughtful lighting. The lobby and bar make a cozy, lively place to have coffee or a drink after exploring. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with organic ingredients and excellent coffee. The hotel’s energy-efficient facilities and minimal approach also reflect its focus on sustainability. For a stylish city stay with a great location and strong value, it exceeded my expectations.
