The food was really, really good, and the staff were lovely. They did their best to accommodate us. The rooms, though, felt dreary and grey, and the bathroom was just ugly. Getting here by public transport is difficult, and there’s not much nearby to do since it’s out in the middle of nowhere. You need a car if you want to go out. There wasn’t a bartender either, which felt odd, so drinks were self-service on an honour system.
I was there for a one day seminar. The food was better than at most conference centres, and the staff were friendly and smiling. WiFi worked, and it was easy to find a seat by an electrical outlet. Quite nice 😃
The common areas feel modern and are nice, and the rooms are functional. Great food and service, too.
