Bella Vida Hotel

Being able to walk to the beach in under five minutes was a real plus, and there were lots of good shops and places to eat nearby. Bella Vida Hotel was comfortable and convenient, with friendly, helpful staff throughout. I’d happily stay there again.

Frank, the part owner of Hotel Bella Vida, told me the room couldn’t be extended and that the only option was a two-bed room at twice the price. Nobody ever came to stay in the other room, so it felt like he was using shady tactics to push me into paying more. Lying and deceiving guests won’t work forever, Frank. NOT RECOMMENDED. I booked one night hoping to extend, but waited more than 20 minutes before any staff showed up. Then an employee sent me up three flights of stairs with three bags and didn’t help. The lock was disabled, and I was told I couldn’t use a key or passcode, so I should leave the door cracked when I went out. That made me very uncomfortable. The hotel seemed vacant, yet I was put on the top floor. In the photo below, you can see the owner knew the code wasn’t working. He also gave me creepy vibes by offering club recommendations and saying he might be back in February. I don’t see why that was relevant to a temporary guest. Merry Christmas and happy new year! In response to the owner: You’re an awful, narcissistic liar. I’ve met little kids who lie better than you.

The whole hotel felt fresh and clean, and our room was spotless and well looked after. It was also just a short walk to the beach, which made things really easy. The staff were warm and helpful, and we had an amazing stay. Thanks for making us feel at home 😊

The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated the complimentary water in the fridge. The place is only a five-minute walk from the beach, and the price was cheap for a fairly good standard. The staff were very helpful, even though not everyone spoke English. Google Translate made it easy enough to communicate. Cleanliness was fair, though not excellent. I’d seen reviews mentioning a pool, but reception told me there isn’t one. It rained while I was there, leaving the street outside muddy, so a mat to wipe my sandals on would have been useful, though not essential.
