Unique B-202 NOK Unique 2BR Apartment by Vistacana Rentals

We’re a Canadian family renting an Airbnb inside vista Cana for the week. The workers at the front gate are usually wonderful and friendly, but today the manager, whose last name was Gonzalez, seemed to be in a bad mood and made a chaotic situation worse. The first attendant gave us a thumbs-up to go through. When the gate didn’t open, they motioned for us to come around. We misunderstood that as a signal to go around the barrier and pass through, which was our mistake. They followed us and told us to return to the gate. We came back to explain and sort out whatever the issue was, but the manager was agitated and aggressive, speaking rudely. He wouldn’t listen or communicate, just blamed us and treated us like criminals. He was a brute and is not qualified for an upper-level management job. The company shouldn’t have someone like this working for them. He ruined the Vista Cana part of our family vacation, and I was embarrassed that my children and parents had to witness it.

This is a mostly family-oriented neighborhood that’s still being built, with lots of amenities and a very safe feel. It has an excellent school, Ashton school, which is partly operating while construction continues.

I’m extremely unhappy with Villa Martina and how our situation was handled. There was too little communication, professionalism, accountability, or empathy. I wish zero stars were an option.

The view was lovely, and the place felt quiet and safe. It was also close to a supermarket called la sirena and a Spanish bakery.
