2/10
It’s only a two-minute drive from Bayahibe, but I didn’t think it was worth it. The rooms were below average and really hot. There’s a kitchen and stove, but no pots or pans to cook with, and they charge for electricity, so be careful using the A.C. The Wi-Fi barely worked, the shower water was no good, and the back balcony doors didn’t lock, which felt insecure.

The place is beautiful and well located. It’s been recently renovated and newly furnished, with a spacious pool, and everything was kept clean. The kitchens are fully equipped and coffee is complimentary. They only provide the bare essentials for toiletries, so bring your own things.

6/10
The pool is magnificent, and there’s a bar not far away. The location is near the beach, and service was okay for the one night we stayed. I only rated it lower because they charge separately for electricity.

6/10
The big pool was clean, well maintained, and quiet in early to mid-December. The apartments are spacious, with a covered balcony, air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room. There’s a small range and toaster oven, handy for a quick breakfast, and the concierge is very reliable. It’s on the edge of Dominicus, with easy taxi access to Bayahibe. The problems were the unreliable Wi-Fi, with poor router connection and slow downloads, weak water pressure, ants, and barely any hot water. No diving in the pool.

4/10
We saw a large cockroach in the bedroom, and the facility didn’t feel clean enough. The extra electricity charge wasn’t transparent, they only told us how much to pay at checkout. The room was very expensive for what they offer, the pool was just okay, and it’s far from the beach. I really wouldn’t recommend it.
