Waking up to this beautiful view was something else. Frank was a great host, helpful and accommodating, and the stay was peaceful and quiet. I’d definitely come back for the view alone.

I’ve been here a few days and the service has been awesome. Frank, the owner, is so attentive to his guests. The view is astonishing, and I didn’t mind the dog at all, he’s kind of cute. I named him MILO, though I forgot his real name, lol. Oh, and the coffee and breakfast are delicious.

The roads were the worst I’ve seen, and once there it felt like being trapped in a nonfunctional hell. There were no nearby conveniences, no AC, and the kitchen wasn’t set up for guests. It was unbearably hot, with a building that didn’t seem up to code. Dogs barked constantly and neighbors played loud music at all hours. I also heard gunfire in the area and loud extremist religious broadcasts at night. The owner seemed a bit of a lunatic, with empty wine bottles all over the walls. During my stay, a large fire broke out behind the building, and the police didn’t even investigate. Even with an honest reason, there was no refund. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Avoid this place at all costs.

The rooms were comfortable, and there was no need for AC. The best part was the quiet, with nothing but Caribbean waves, plus good wine and Wi-Fi. Staying two nights at Franks place was a delight, and I was surprised by a free wine tasting from the owner. He later told me he’d won the title of best sommelier in the Benelux three times.
