Casa Brisa Mar Hotel

The location is great and easy to find, with everything walkable, including an Italian bakery and pharmacy. We loved the service and attention. The front desk was always available, and the owner is a sweetheart. They’re kind and attentive, and the pool area with table games was a nice touch. Hot water was unreliable, though. They tried to fix it but couldn’t during our stay. Our room also had an odd layout, with the toilet in a separate tiny room off the bathroom and no ventilation to the outside. We hope to come back.

The location is amazing, close to the beach, bars, disco, restaurants, and markets. It was also the only place where we could pay by card instead of cash. We had a great time, thanks! The room was nice but not clean, and we even found hairs on the bed. Water drained very slowly in the shower, so we couldn’t shower one after another and had to do it at different times of day. It’s a pity the place isn’t cleaner.

I was so happy with the quality for the price that I came back to Hotel Brisa Mar for a second weeklong stay. It was the best accommodation of my two-month trip in DomRep. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the location was ideal, close to the beach and town but still quiet. Irene, the manager, was the most efficient, reliable, and helpful person I met in the whole country. I’d recommend the place to friends and relatives, and it’s top of my list if I return to Las Terrenas. Just book ahead.

THE worst place I’ve ever stayed. It was disgusting, and despite saying parking would be available, they had none. I paid extra for breakfast, but there was no breakfast and nobody at the front desk at 7 a.m. The pillow had mold on it, and there was no hot water in the shower. STAY AWAY!!!!!
