Paradisus Grand Cana - All Suites - All Inclusive

The kids absolutely loved the water park. There are shallow pools for crawling babies, a splash pad, and a toddler pool with smaller slides. The larger slides are in a pool about 5 feet deep. Pool areas were clean and well maintained. This is a great choice for families with young children. Our room was spacious, a Master Suite, and the hotel was beautiful and clean, with hot showers. We appreciated the private airport transfer. The beach was lovely with minimal seaweed, and there were always chairs and palapas available. Omar, our private concierge, was excellent. He stayed in touch every day, was easy to reach, and helped arrange dinner reservations. The kids also got a surprise bubble jacuzzi, beach toys, and a few other extras. The concierge upgrade is WORTH IT. The cocktails were excellent, and service at most bars was quick, except at the swim up bar. The buffet was quite good, especially the fish, beef, and lamb. I found most of the restaurants underwhelming. Night entertainment was underwhelming apart from the water acrobatics. Music played loudly in the main building and lobby from 7:30-11:00pm. If that bothers you, I’d suggest booking in buildings 1 or 6.

The entertainment team brought so much energy and positivity to the resort each day, and made the atmosphere fun. Samira deserves a special thank you. She was always smiling, welcoming, and full of energy, and made activities enjoyable while helping guests feel included and happy. We had an incredible stay at Paradisus Grand Cana. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the food was great, and the service was outstanding. We came away with an unforgettable vacation and can’t wait to return. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Punta Cana.

Juan made our meal at Agua Marina especially enjoyable. He knew the menu well, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything arrived as ordered and at the right time. From the start, he was warm, attentive, and welcoming, without hovering. His friendly, professional service felt sincere and effortless. If you eat at Agua Marina, ask for Juan. He really lifts the whole experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We were four adults who accidentally booked a place that felt like a Disney-style resort for families with young kids. It’s about 1 km from the beach, laid out in a circle around the central pools, and there seemed to be as many children under 8 as adults. The kids were happy with the pool, aqua park, and pizza, burgers, and fries, but the rest felt nonexistent, especially the food quality. The guacamole came from a large can, the drinks were the cheapest brands, and the specialty restaurants lacked flavor. It felt like mass catering for little kids escaping the Northeast cold. Management would probably say we should have booked a different paradisus, and we agree. The bright spots were the staff: Jonathan at the beach grill, Carolina and Ricardo in concierge, and Rosmery at lemon fish. She was the best. Thank you, Yamlett, too!
