Secrets Tides Punta Cana

The pools, meals, service, entertainment, and overall atmosphere were incredible, and we loved our trip. I only wish there were more activities to do at the resort itself, since there weren't many. The beach was the one disappointment: we came during peak sargassum season and the water was brown along the shoreline. People who seemed to be connected with the resort also approached us to try to sell something. Even with those downsides, we loved the experience.

The resort kept us entertained with well planned daily activities and different evening shows, so we could enjoy both daytime and nights. The entertainment team also came over to dance and talk with guests, adding fun to each activity. ANGEL and STEPHANIE were with us all seven days and kept us engaged. The spa was excellent too. We had an 80-minute treatment and hydro therapy, and JULIA & STEPHANIE (Different individual) did a great job with the massages. All six restaurants were good, though I personally didn't love El patio Mexican restaurant. The team had put together excellent buffets and à la carte choices, and I liked how each restaurant's interior design suited the food. Staff throughout the resort made a real effort to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The location also stood out: the beach was the cleanest and biggest we experienced along that shoreline, and the resort worked hard to keep it that way. I went with my wife for our honeymoon, and after experiencing secret tides hospitality, I felt we'd made the right choice. We enjoyed our seven nights and would gladly visit other Hyatt properties in Mexico and elsewhere. I'd highly recommend secret tides.

A big shout out to the restaurant staff and the poolside crew. Grandpa led the morning exercise, and I got the best workout I've had in a long time. Mr. Francisco at the sport bar works so hard. Rudy at the Amazon restaurant gave excellent service, and Beni and Felix were great too. I loved the customer service from all of them and will be back.

The beach was lovely and just a short walk from the resort. We enjoyed strolling along the ocean and stopping at the little shops nearby. It was neat seeing the ocean from the resorts. We also liked the different pools and hot tubs, each with its own atmosphere, and had fun trying several throughout the day. The resort felt clean, modern, charming, lively, and well cared for. The food was very good overall, with plenty of restaurant variety and impressive quality for an all-inclusive. We also booked the Monkey Land excursion through Amstar, which was a lot of fun and well worth doing. The people made this trip unforgettable. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and seemed to enjoy making guests feel at home. FELIX was our favorite server and made breakfasts and dinners special. He was kind and attentive, always greeting us with a warm smile, and the staff even sang me Happy Birthday!! JASON and JUSTIN at the pool were fantastic. Water aerobics with them was a blast, and it was great seeing their performance in the Dominican show. Their energy added so much to the pool atmosphere. Jencoder, Rosemeri, Rosana, and Estrella at Coco Café were wonderfully welcoming each morning, smiling and getting guests energized even bright and early. We had a fantastic stay at Secrets Tides Punta Cana and would return without hesitation. It's one of our favorite all-inclusives, with beautiful surroundings, good food, fun activities, and truly exceptional staff. We're already talking about coming back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Punta Cana.
