The location made it easy to get a feel for the local community, and we loved having coffee on the front porch as the town woke up. After checkout, they kindly kept our bags while we spent a few more hours exploring. We came across the hotel at the last minute while eating at the cafe. Paco at the front was helpful and welcoming, and the place was spotless. Our room had everything we needed for a short visit.

We only spent one night, and the front of house staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view toward the church and ocean, and the AC worked great. The only snag was that the soap dispenser didn’t work.

Docia Hotel has a warm, cozy feel, and its location made it easy to get to everything we needed while exploring. The area around it adds to the charm. I had a fantastic stay and would recommend it for a comfortable visit.

The location was convenient, and I appreciated the nice views from the shared patios, plus the coffee and filtered water. There are no private balconies, but the Wi-Fi worked okay and the price was affordable. The room I’d booked wasn’t the one I got. They put me in a smaller room, and the front desk worker said it wasn’t his fault and there was nothing he could do, even after I showed my confirmation email and pointed out other rooms were available. Maybe the booking platform and hotel had a mix-up, but the guest shouldn’t have to bear the cost of that. There was no hot water or blankets, and the thin walls meant I could hear other guests coming and going.

We could walk to the Caribe tour bus stop, and it was also an easy walk to the ferry for Sabana and the boat to Bacardi island. Having a terrace for breakfast was nice. There was drinkable water to brush our teeth, and a fridge in our room.
