Hacienda Campo Verde

I could enjoy the pool, but the VIP day pass didn’t feel any different from regular admission, so it wasn’t worth the price. The crackers we were served looked like rats had already eaten half of them. I asked for a replacement and the same thing happened again. I expected the package to feel more exclusive. It was a pretty mid experience.

The food was delicious, but it took 4 hours to arrive. The bathrooms were really dirty, and of the 2 outdoor showers, one was out of order and the other was ice cold. I expected more after seeing the water park on instagram. The pool water looked moldy, the bottom and sidewalls were slippery, and the floor around the pool felt dangerously slippery. 2 slides were closed.

We got a VIP day pass instead of staying at the hotel, and it was amazing. The river was gorgeous, and the pools were nice. I didn’t try the slides, but they looked fun and amazing for kids. I didn’t see many adults using them, though I assume adults can too, lol. The staff were cool and kind as long as you’re cool and kind with them. Tips aren’t necessary, but they’re always nice. Security and armed security patrol the grounds, so if that’s a concern, you should be good lol.

The pools look like they need better filtration, the water is very cloudy. The bathrooms are filthy and falling apart. This place needs better upkeep.
