The bed was reasonably comfortable, the hot water pressure was decent, and there was a backup generator. The central location was another plus. Otherwise, my stay was a problem from start to finish. There was hair throughout the bathroom, in the drain, and even on the bed. The room was extremely small, had no table or usable surface, and smelled strongly of mold. Both the thin pillows and the decorative throw pillows smelled moldy too. Staff didn't speak English or make much effort to communicate or help. Customer service was basically nonexistent, and what the booking site advertised wasn't honored. The key card cuts all electricity when you leave, so you can't charge devices while you're out and even the refrigerator shuts off. That inconvenience wasn't made clear beforehand. I left early without completing my reservation. I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere unless you're willing to put up with poor communication, misleading listings, and uncomfortable room conditions.

The rooms aren't large, but they're comfortable enough for a stay. It's a great spot, near lots of places in the capital, especially the Malecon. Staff are friendly and accommodating when they can be. There is a decent amount of parking, and the area is usually quiet. It isn't always packed.

I booked after seeing on booking.com that pets were accepted, then arrived late at night with my cat. The employee at reception just nodded and said they don't take animals. I had to urgently find somewhere else and spent a lot on a taxi. He was VERY rude and didn't even apologize. When I asked if he wouldn't say sorry, he kept nodding and said no. Horrible service, avoid.

They confirmed my booking, and both their own website and the booking site said they were pet friendly. But when they saw my 10 kg little dog, they wouldn't let me stay that night, claiming it was too big and giving a poor excuse. Shameful service.

This felt like a total scam. I paid through a booking website, arrived at the hotel, and was told there were no rooms. The booking site wouldn't refund me, while the guy at the hotel just kept insisting they hadn't charged me. Be careful.
