The rooftop is fantastic, with a nice view and a friendly atmosphere. The food is simple, local, and very good, and the waitress was really friendly. Luis gave us a great welcome. Our room was simple and very clean, with excellent bedding. Just note that breakfast isn’t served at the hotel.

La Rosa Bandida on the rooftop has an excellent city view, good drinks at reasonable prices, and excellent service. There’s a little fountain area with chairs where you can dip your feet to cool off. It’s a great spot in a completely renovated hotel.

The terrace is a lovely place to relax, with a tremendous view across much of Santo Domingo. You can see monuments and historic spots including the Altar of the Fatherland, the Puerta del Conde, the monument to Fray Anton de Montesinos, and the obelisks. The service was good, the atmosphere pleasant, and the decor has lovely touches. The food, appetizers, and drinks were delicious. I especially loved the cocktails and mojitos. They should try serving the beers colder.
