View Tower

We liked the front desk staff, who were friendly, and our apartment had a full kitchen, stacked washer and dryer, AC in the rooms, and bathrooms in good shape. We’ve had good hot water so far. The building is newer, so we’ve had better luck with things like the water pumps than our friends in older buildings. The elevators are in good shape, the stairwells are usually clean, and the garage trash gets cleared regularly. There’s a decent garage area, plus a small kids’ play space with plastic turf off the main garage floor. The location is nice, on a side street with little traffic, quieter than spots along Avenida Simon Bolivar. Nacional and Sirena are within walking distance for groceries, as are Wendy's, McDonald's, and KFC. It’s also close enough to walk to the National Theater, cultural areas, and the metro station. The apartment is less pleasant on a lower floor. Higher up, you get a better view than the backs of neighboring buildings. There’s also a dark, dingy maid’s room behind the laundry room, which I rarely go into. I’d give it five stars if we were higher up and all the windows worked properly. Some won’t open or close, so we keep them shut.
