The restaurant was the highlight for me. Every dish was cooked fresh to order with real care, and the quality was outstanding. I didn’t feel like eating anywhere else during my stay. In the evenings, the bartender who was also serving as a waitress was calm, professional, and genuinely caring, which made those hours especially pleasant. I loved Casa Valeria from the first day: it felt peaceful, comfortable, and welcoming. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well cared for, and the staff throughout the hotel were warm and friendly. It has a lovely boutique feel, and I’d gladly come back.

I actually lived here for all of 2021 and never had a single problem. For me, this is the best hotel in the Dominican Republic. The staff are what make the place run so well: great people and excellent service. Unbeatable!

As always, everything looked beautiful and the service was great. I love staying here. They really need a doorbell, though. The security guard is often asleep, so you have to shout. Last night I got soaked waiting for him to wake up, even though he was sitting right in front of me. He never did.

The staff were so friendly, and David at the door was especially kind and attentive. He was cheerful and always had a smile. It was a great vacation, the best I’ve had in Sosua. I hope to return home, Valeria.

This visit was awful, and it ruined a place I used to love. I’d stayed here four times before without any problems, but this time I came with my family instead of just my husband. The BBQ had always been available until 10 PM, yet the owner, who was nearby, rudely told us we couldn’t use it and gave random excuses. She was unpleasant from the start. Then at 8 PM she said we had to leave the pool, which had never happened on earlier visits. Her daughter was also very disrespectful and unprofessional. We weren’t making noise or causing trouble, just spending time together as a family, but it felt like they didn’t want us there. Meanwhile, the owner was drinking with her friends and seemed bothered by us. I won’t be coming back.
