The bathroom cleaning was good, and the cleaning crew did an excellent job there. The rest of my room had plenty of problems. The sheets were stained and had hair on them, the carpet was filthy and needs replacing, and the toilet was broken. They only gave me towels on the first day, then took them without bringing replacements. The light fitting was broken and kept hitting the closet door, which made me nervous every time I opened it. The closet seemed made for a giant, with shelves too high to reach, and although there was a hanger, they hadn’t provided any hangers. The AC had no remote, and reception ignored my request for one. This hotel needs serious renovations. Service also seemed much better after the Tunisian group arrived, and they even brought in a music group for them.

The room I got had broken drawers, dead small lights, insects, problems with the bath, no internet, and a tiny fridge. There were no children’s channels on the TV. The hotel is in a great location, but it seems there’s been no renovation since it was first built, including the rooms and dining areas. The style feels old for a four-star hotel, and the breakfast food and service were below standard. The old photos on the walls show well-known people, though I’m not sure any of them would visit again. The hotel needs a full renovation, along with better overall quality and services. It’s missing things like a gym, shops, a coffee area, and a sauna. Prices are at the level of a real four-star hotel.
