Rym el Djamil Hotel

I went for three years in a row. The cleaning lady was respectful and professional, but the breakfast team was really slow. The croissant was so hard, and butter and jam were hard to find. The beach club is amazing, though the stairs are way too long.

I booked a sea-view room. It was comfortable, and I could see the swimming pool from the window. The staff seemed polite and accommodating, but the price felt high for what was offered. Breakfast lacked variety and didn’t meet expectations. There was also a lot of noise at night from loud music and parties, and the poor soundproofing made it hard to get any peace. Some guests were ill-mannered and disrespectful toward families and couples. Towels were delivered around 3:30 PM, during siesta time, which was inconvenient. The door took a lot of force to shut properly. Room: 4/5, breakfast: 3/5.

The location was the one good thing. For the price, the service was poor, the room wasn’t very clean, and breakfast was extremely bad. It felt more like a motel than a proper hotel. Not worth the cost, and it should be classed as a motel.

The restaurant food was delicious, and the staff were polite, helpful, and really tried to make our stay pleasant. We came out of season, though, so the beaches were closed and the pool was empty and closed too. Our balcony door wouldn’t shut all the way, which could be a problem since guests could easily jump from one balcony to another.
