The room service food let us down, and the breakfast buffet was fine, though it didn’t have an omelette station. If you’re driving yourself, the location may be a challenge. Also, avoid getting a room at the far end of the long corridor if you can. The lobby elevators are at one end, not halfway along it. This could be one of the better hotels in Constantine. We also checked out the recently renovated and reopened Grand Cirta Hotel near the Novotel, but didn’t stay there. Its basic rooms were a little smaller but more luxurious, and the rate was roughly the same.

Nora, who looks after our room, is especially professional and kind. It’s always spotless and beautifully arranged thanks to her. The whole team keeps the service at a high level, with warm hospitality and attention to detail. The Constantine Marriott is one of the best hotels in Algeria, in my view. I enjoy coming back whether I’m there for two or three nights, and the experience is consistently outstanding.

I was turned away from the Marriott Constantine just for wearing a T-shirt and sandals. Nobody had told me about a dress code beforehand. It felt unnecessary and unwelcoming, especially from an international hotel brand. I expected to be treated in a more respectful, customer-friendly way. A very disappointing experience.

I stayed at Marriott Hotel on a business trip, and the rooms and everything else were on point. It was a great experience. The one thing that could improve was the luggage porter, whose communication and manners didn’t seem professional.
