Az Hotels Grand Oran

So bad they can’t even be bothered to answer the phone. Calling this a 5 star hotel is too much, even one star feels like too much.

The main dining room was out of service, so guests had to use another one on the third floor of a shopping center. As a first-time visitor I spent nearly 20 minutes wandering before I found it. The room was uncomfortable too: in winter the air conditioning was set far too warm, and I couldn’t change it from the in-room controls. Opening the window for air meant dealing with an unpleasant smell from the nearby polluted lake. One of my most disappointing hotel stays.

I haven’t stayed overnight because, in my opinion, the hotel is far too expensive. The Aqua park, though, feels like a great deal to me and is excellent for couples or families. The staff are very friendly and incredibly professional. Families who can afford the entry fee won’t regret going.

Miss Dounia at the front desk and Mr. Fouad, the barista, both made my stay feel special. Miss Dounia greeted me with a warm smile and handled check-in smoothly. She was kind and willing to help with any questions or requests, and her commitment to good service made me feel at home. Every morning Mr. Fouad made my coffee with real care, and it was perfect each time. He was friendly, clearly passionate about his work, and his positive attitude brightened my day.
