The beach was okay and had chairs and the usual setup, and the natural surroundings were beautiful, though dirty. The hotel itself is fairly large and well located. Rooms are simple, with comfortable beds, but the sheets weren’t very clean. For a three-star hotel, the prices felt high. The service was poor, and food service was awful. The restaurant charged a lot for small portions, and the food had no flavor. The fruit seemed low quality, too. When staff tried to fix a light problem, the lights suddenly went out, and we had to use our phone torches. We paid 20000 DA, or 2 million, for a meal for four people for two days because we thought the restaurant was fancy. When we asked for a refund for the next day’s dinner, they refused and said their policy didn’t allow refunds. Please don’t eat at the hotel restaurant. This place should be a last resort, it’s not worth the money.

The portions were so generous we couldn’t finish everything, and the staff served us without fuss, discreetly and professionally. We were there during Ramadan in the off-season, and Iftar was already laid out when we arrived: Chourba, bourek, salade de fel-fel, and tajine Zitoun with a big piece of chicken. For Suhor, we asked during the night and were given delicious couscous with elben and dessert. The room was clean enough and the sheets were clean. The view was wonderful, and we got to enjoy the beautiful light-sand beach. Water was available, which can sometimes be scarce in Algeria, but it wasn’t hot.

It was easy to get to, and the location works well for the city center. The staff were welcoming, too. For a one-day stay, it was good. I regret not getting to enjoy the beach more because of the hot weather. This is the view from the room I was assigned.

Even with that stunning view, I can’t recommend this hotel. The rooms and pool were filthy, and there are serious management and hygiene problems. The only receptionist who was helpful and did his job was a young man on the morning shift. 👎🤢

The most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. They serve roasted and boiled cockroaches. If you want to eat cockroaches or sleep uncomfortably, this is the place for you.
