The pool was a nice size, and I liked having it there. Our double room was roomy and clean, and the hotel itself was much neater than I expected 😀. The staff were kind and quick to help, even bringing extra towels and water. Breakfast was included, with homemade bread, cheese, ham, juice, coffee, and fruit. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the shopping mall.

We could leave our key at the front desk, which made it easy for everyone to head out exploring separately. The rooms were cleaned every day, and each of us had a towel that was replaced almost daily. The hotel was very clean and central, with air conditioning, hot water, and free Wi-Fi. I didn’t try the pool, but it looked clear and clean. I’d definitely stay again next time I’m in Bahia de Caraquez, 10/10.

The pool was good and the employees were excellent, but this felt overpriced for the kind of hotel it is. The online photos don’t look much like the rooms. Our room was clean, but during our three-night stay nobody cleaned it, changed the towels, or offered drinking water. Water was available to buy.

It’s pricey, but if you’re staying in Bahía, I’d spend the night here. It’s one of the two hotels built since the earthquake. Still, I’d suggest checking out Canoa, about 10 minutes north, where there are more hotels.

We checked in as two people and found just one towel in the bathroom, so we asked for another. Then at 10 pm they told us there was another $12 to pay for the extra person staying in the room. That left a pretty sour taste.
