Casa Ceibo Boutique Hotel & Spa

Chef Hugo’s food was amazing, and everyone on staff was lovely. We came with a group and had such a good time that we’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommend.

The children at the next table made what was meant to be a fine dining anniversary dinner feel like a daycare. They played games loudly on their phones, slammed doors, and drove toy trucks across the floor, while the adults carried on talking for an hour without stepping in. Our chef even came over and sat with that family. When we asked our waitress to help, she only shrugged. We’d booked two days ahead and arrived on time, but were first told to wait because children were eating in the dining room. After 20 minutes, we asked to be seated. We’ll never come back to this restaurant or hotel.

The food was okay, but the atmosphere ruined our meal. A group of loud, obnoxious patrons next to us knew the workers, and staff wouldn’t act even after we complained several times because they were friends. This is the second time it’s happened. We’re not going back.

The kitchen staff made the best meal I had anywhere in Ecuador. It’s a great resort too, with large rooms and bathrooms.
