The terrace was a lovely place to watch the sunset and take in the peaceful atmosphere and view of Bahia. I especially loved relaxing in the super comfortable hammocks on the balcony. The penthouse I stayed in recently was spacious and full of natural light. Well worth it for a calm, restful stay :)

I felt very safe here as a woman traveling alone, and the people running the hostel were incredibly welcoming and kind. They put a lot of work into making the place fun and distinctive. I spent six weeks volunteering and had a great experience. The location is fantastic too, just a couple of minutes on foot from the beach and right across from a beautiful park.

Art covers nearly every surface inside, which I especially enjoyed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the whole stay felt welcoming, with good vibes. It was a pleasant, accommodating experience, and I’ll definitely stay again!

I’ve been coming back to CoCo Bongo for several years, and after a recent return I was amazed by what they’ve done. They’ve done a fantastic job since the quake, making it even better than before. The food and staff are great as always. I can’t say enough about the burgers and breakfast. Thanks, and keep up the great service and hostel!

Bahia is quiet and relaxing, and I just love the murals and artwork here. It’s the most unique place I’ve ever stayed, just beautiful. I’ll be back...
