We stayed for seven nights, and on our last night the volcano began erupting. It was a beautiful sight and not scary at all. Our host knocked on everyone's doors to make sure we saw it. He was very nice and seemed to genuinely want us to enjoy our stay. The beds were comfortable, and extending our stay was possible. It's a bit of a walk from the center, but well worth it.

I booked two nights but ended up staying five after I got sick. The owners were amazing and kindly drove me into town for food and medicine. They even do laundry for free. The kitchen is the only shared space, though, so it may not be very social.

It's a little removed from the town center, but the views are pretty nice. The rooms were clean and pleasant, hot water was always available, and you can wash your clothes for free.

I stopped at their rooftop restaurant for breakfast. The view of the Banos waterfall is breathtaking, and the coffee was good, but the food was average and service really slow. Have a coffee and enjoy the view, then eat somewhere else.

The host was really friendly and had lots of useful information. Town is an easy walk away, and laundry is free. I had a great stay!
