Sangay Spa Hotel

Just across the road from the public thermal pools, and only a short walk to the center of Baños, the location was quite good. We stayed one night with our tour group. The rooms were spacious, with large comfortable beds. There's a big outdoor pool and bar, plus an upstairs area with table tennis and billiard tables, though we didn't get to use them. The restaurant has a bar and Alice in Wonderland and London themes. I'm guessing the hotel is owned by a British company. Breakfast is served in a large upstairs restaurant, with a big selection for different tastes. We would have liked to stay longer and explore, but didn't have the chance.

I had a great stay at Sangay hotel. The staff were respectful and friendly, especially the woman at the outside bar by the pool. She was very attentive, and we could communicate in English, which I appreciated since my Spanish isn't very good. If you're going to Baños, stay here.

We only had one night at the Sangay while on our tour, but it's a wonderful place in Banos. You can easily walk into town, and the hot springs are right across the street. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended for a visit to Banos!

The breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious, and the laundry service was well organized. I used it and got my clothes back the same day. I brought a group here, and we all found it a great hotel with lovely rooms. Baños town is within walking distance, and there are plenty of excursions to do nearby.
