After a day in Canoa’s humid heat, this is a great place to come back to for a clean, comfortable, cozy room. The staff are attentive and charming, and will help with anything in English or Spanish. Hungry? Their menu is delicious, with lots of vegetarian and healthy choices, and I’d say the dining is the best in town. There’s also nice coffee, local craft beer from local breweries, and cocktails. If you’re bored, you can do yoga, get a massage, or take tours.

After you’ve had the usual dishes around town, this is a great place to eat. It’s a rustic, relaxed hostal in a dusty plaza, with a varied menu that has a Spanish flavour. Probably the most eclectic menu in town, and arguably the best quality too. The Pulpo de la gallega is top notch.

The rooms are comfortable, with good showers and a quiet fan. The restaurant looks really nice, though a little pricey. There’s a basic kitchen you can just about cook in, but it badly needs updating.
