We agreed on a price and paid, but then the owner locked us out of the room and demanded more money. That’s really poor business practice. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We made a Booking.com reservation a week ahead, but when we arrived in Cuenca they said there was nothing under our name and claimed they had no Booking.com website. We were left outside with our luggage. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on us. An awful experience.

Our confirmed stay was canceled at the last minute, leaving us stranded. Staff said there were no rooms left and offered no way to sort things out. They were also extremely rude. Disgraceful.

The owner seems very disorganized and doesn’t know when guests are checking in or out. They quote one price and then change it, or tell you there are no rooms left. The service was terrible.
