I had a great experience from start to finish and highly recommend the place. The property is kept in great shape by the maintenance team. At reception, Maria Fernanda and Carlos made me feel at home as soon as I arrived.

It's a period mansion with plenty of charm and style. But be careful with the bill. We agreed on one nightly rate when we arrived, then were charged a different one at checkout. The explanation was simply, “I made a mistake...” They charge based on appearance, so don't let Maria Fernanda's friendliness fool you 😓. If you want reliability and trust, this may not be the best choice. I'd recommend paying through an app 🫣.

María Fernanda was especially helpful, always ready with suggestions for activities, restaurants, and museums around Cuenca. The staff were attentive, and the hotel is beautifully decorated. We were four adults in a duplex room with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom, and we all slept well. I'd recommend it to families or groups of friends visiting the city.
