Guillerminas Hostel Boutique

The hostel looks quite fancy and was a good price, with a great location, large lockers, and an amazing breakfast. A few things to keep in mind: the Wi-Fi was unreliable at times, as others had mentioned, and I don't think there are enough bathrooms during busy periods. My balcony room faced the street, which got pretty loud some nights and early in the morning. Still, it wasn't a bad stay.

Good location, friendly people, and a nice hostel. My room smelled odd and it wasn't especially clean. There also weren't any curtains, so privacy was limited. Still, I had a nice stay.

The beds were great, and the hostel was very clean. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully made, with a vegetarian option. They also offer laundry service and make the beds every day. It's well located for the new cathedral and park. The Wi-Fi could be very slow, and the walls were a little thin. It didn't feel like a social hostel, and the shared area wasn't especially cozy or welcoming. All in all, a nice place with a bit of a nail salon vibe.

Mauricio, the owner, was the standout for me. I needed something I couldn't find anywhere in EC, and he managed to get it for me within a few hours. The hostel is in a great location, with very nice, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. I liked the breakfast, and the guest kitchen was enough for making a decent backpacker meal. They also handled the power cuts in EC well. I'd recommend staying here. Thanks, Mauricio.
