A family run hostel, and the owners are the sweetest. We arrived very early, but they made sure we could get into our room ahead of the usual time. Breakfast was delicious and a good-sized portion. There are two places to hang out with others, including a very spacious terrace with hammocks and a comfy couch. We had calm, lovely days here.
The two terraces are the best part: both are cozy and nicely decorated, one peaceful and quiet, the other looking over Cuenca's historic streets. For a great price, you get a private room, a very hot shower, and use of the kitchen. Breakfast is good, private parking is available, and laundry facilities can be used for a fee. It's within walking distance of lots of restaurants and the main San Blas plaza. This hostel is a real treasure, and I'd highly recommend staying here in Cuenca.
The host was nice and the place was pleasant. The room had very good value, hard to find at this price. I'd avoid the room on the main street, though, since it gets noisy and there's too much light at night.
Excellent location, with nice hosts and safe parking. Breakfast is served on the balcony every morning, which is pretty cool.
Great breakfast and amazing location. The rooms are quiet, too.
