The staff were friendly, breakfast was included, and I slept well despite some street noise and late-night music from the busy area. The hotel felt comfortable, nice, clean, and safe, right in the center of Cuenca. My room had a nice balcony. There are lots of stairs, but staff helped with our bags. I’d return!

The people were friendly and the service was great. They were very helpful in getting me acquainted with the city. My only complaint is the noise from the busy street, especially the loud buses.

The breakfast alone was worth it, with fruit, eggs, croissants, and good coffee from a proper machine. Our room was nicer than we expected, clean and cozy, and the shower worked perfectly with plenty of hot water. You can hear road noise in the street-facing rooms, but this was still the best hotel we stayed at in Ecuador.

We had a lovely balcony room for our anniversary, and it was comfortable and delightful. Even when we arrived really late and my girlfriend had had a bit too much to drink, the staff were understanding and helpful. They also made parking easy, which can be tricky in Cuenca, and the breakfast was delicious. I'd definitely recommend Hotel La Ronda.

Friday and Saturday nights got very loud in my room, which makes sense since this is the prime weekend area. I stayed for a week in March of 2023 and loved how easy it was to walk to all the top rated places in the historic district. The location is perfect.
