Our attendant showed us to a spacious room with a balcony, plus a little table and chairs. It’s close to Calderon Park. Highly recommend.

We’d booked for today and were about to make the 3 hours drive with a baby and toddler when the hotel canceled by message on the same day, just before we were due to arrive. Luckily we still had internet at our previous hotel, since we’re travelers and don’t have it the whole time. They said the price from "Booking.com" was wrong and no credit card had been given, although a card hadn’t been requested when we booked. That’s their problem with Booking.com, not ours. We’re guests with small kids, and this was unbelievable. They were willing to give us the room only for more money. We had to find somewhere else at very short notice, and our trip was delayed a lot. This is totally unacceptable. Have they ever heard of goodwill? This is no way to treat guests. Not recommendable at all!

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the Wifi worked well for us. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet had several choices, so we all found something yummy. The location is excellent for walking to Cuenca’s markets, museums, restaurants, shops, and other attractions. We’d definitely go back. It would be nice to have coffee, tea, and other drinks available for guests at all times.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and knew the city well. Great location too.
