The floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the river are lovely. The cleanliness only seemed to be surface level, and the furniture, linens, and appliances felt like cheap rental apartment stuff.

The view, security, and location are the best parts here, especially if you’re into the Guayas River and The Point. I’m more of a mountain and beach person, though, so the view didn’t wow me. I only stayed one night, and since it was a Monday, I didn’t get to enjoy the communal area the following day. The room was fine and had the basics, with no fancy extras. It was clean except the trash hadn’t been taken out, and the shower had no hot water. Front desk service was average. The place felt short on modern amenities, just enough to get by. For the location and communal space, I thought it was relatively expensive. It might work for a night or two, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay.

We had a great stay at RIver View Suites and would absolutely recommend it. The suites were comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed. We loved the river view, and Lorena was a very friendly host who communicated well and checked in with us throughout. The location is perfect, close to the airport, with good restaurants and cafes downstairs and a nice atmosphere at night. The rooftop pool was a great extra, and the area felt very safe. We’ll definitely stay at RIver view Suites on our next vacation.
