The food came quickly and room service was excellent. We stayed 45 minutes past checkout, and nobody made an issue of it. The staff were relaxed and professional, very friendly, and helped carry our bags. The room was clean, with good hot water and air conditioning. It was $45 USD a night. I’d happily stay again.

There’s a good selection of drinks, including beer, wine, and cocktails, as well as starters. The food is tasty and plentiful, with Ecuadorian coastal dishes given a bit of a Peruvian touch. It’s a nice setting, and the friendly staff are happy to explain the menu. Great place.

I really liked the tigrillo con carne, though the bolón mixto with cheese and chicharon, plus meat and a fried egg, might be even better. The mote pilo was good too. Fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent, but the coffee wasn’t. Service was acceptable, though it could be better. It’s a quiet, pleasant spot. The war films playing on the TVs felt out of place with the food and location. Still, quite good.
