We came for a friend’s wedding and had a wonderful time. The wedding was put together beautifully, and the room was clean and well cared for. Staff were friendly and accommodating too. I’d love to come back for a vacation. It’s worth it!

Way too expensive for what you get. There was no hairdryer, fridge, or kettle in the room, and the shower didn’t have hot water. Breakfast was pretty lousy too. Also, the dogs leave poop on the lawn, so watch out if you use the playground.

I was there for a wedding, and I wouldn’t recommend the place based on that experience. The lobby furniture was falling apart, and the pillows were covered in stains. The wedding area wasn’t separated from the rest of the hotel or lobby, and people who weren’t part of the wedding were allowed to wander among the ceremony and wedding party outside. The front door was left open, so mosquitoes and wild dogs could get in. Staff were dressed very casually, including one person wearing jeans with holes in them.

The food was spectacular and the place had lovely decor, but the service and organization weren’t okay for such an important family Christmas Dinner. We’d booked two weeks ahead and paid in full as required, yet when we arrived everything was ready except a table for us. They wanted our five-person group to share with other people, so we had to wait for another table. After that, we were treated like last-minute customers and weren’t given a choice of dessert. I wouldn’t recommend this for an important occasion. They need to improve their service and organization, since problems at a moment like this can lead to a bad experience at the worst time.

A lovely place for events or just spending the day out. There’s plenty of nature, a great view of the lake, and some small ponds.
