The owner helped me arrange a taxi back to Quito, and the coffee was the best I've had in Ecuador. The breakfast was great too, especially the bread. Hotel Makaroz is a great affordable place to stay in Lacatunga, with good beds and rooms. Thanks for a wonderful stay and service!

The restaurant feels a little cold, though the food was very good, especially the chateaubriand, which I'd recommend. The rooms are excellent, the service is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's well located in Latacunga, near the bus terminal and central parc.

Whenever we're in Latacunga, this is where we stay. It's central, the rooms at the back are quiet, and the staff are friendly.
