The Hotel Carrión was right in the middle of Loja, which made it a great base for our family vacation. I first noticed the name, lol, but the cozy, family-run feel, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and spotless spaces won me over. The food was mouthwatering and the service was excellent, all at a price that didn't break the bank. I'd stay again.

For what we paid each night, the service and quality were the best part of our trip to Loja. The staff were kind and incredibly helpful, and the place looked new, with a pristine, spacious room and a very roomy bathroom. I'd give it 4.5 stars. My only half-star deduction is that breakfast wasn't included, though they explained the hotel's restaurant has a different owner. Still very recommendable.

A peaceful spot, and the bed was warm and comfy on a cold day. Breakfast is on the first floor.

Good value for the money, though the bathrooms feel quite small if you're a gringo!
