UKU PACHA was one of the highlights of my trip. I’ve traveled extensively, and the chef’s talent really stood out. Every dish felt thoughtfully and creatively prepared. From arrival, the staff made me feel like a close friend, and their kindness and attentiveness made the whole stay feel welcoming. Eva and Luna greeted me warmly, and their cheerful personalities brought laughter to each morning. I only wished I could have stayed longer. Part of my heart will always be at Chakana Hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a memorable stay with warm hospitality, excellent service, and wonderful food.
Ivonne made sure I was comfortable and really looked after me. I stayed about 5 nights this January, and enjoyed the rooms and breakfast. This was my favorite hotel during my visit to Ecuador. I'd happily recommend it.
The street has quite a few bars, so there was some noise, though it didn't bother me much. We spent 4 nights here with a friend while enjoying Quito. The place had a lot of character and a lovely vibe, Yvonne helped us with recommendations and booking tours, and breakfast was good.
We loved our stay. The beds were huge and comfy, the rooms super clean, and the owner so welcoming and friendly.
I came across the hotel in one of Steve Marsh's travelog videos and was really impressed.
