We even got to feed a few cute wild monkeys when they came by, which was a fun surprise. The staff were lovely, and the decor has a really creative, artsy feel. This was one of our favorite places in Ecuador. If you're passing through Loreto, this hidden gem is worth a stay.

The people were wonderful and kind, and the place was really clean. We stayed at Hostería Ojo de Agua for a long time on my first visit to Loreto. For lodging and food, I honestly think it's the best option in town. If you're lucky, you might spot monkeys or other Amazonian species too. It felt like a real oasis in the desert to me.

Really good value for money, with excellent rooms and service from all the hotel staff. It's a great place to enjoy with family. I'd bring insect repellent.
