There are around a dozen good seafood restaurants right beside the place along the shoreline, and it's close to the pier. For under 30 dollars for two people, the basic room was clean and roomy enough to be comfortable, with air-conditioning and Wifi. The hot water didn't work. The gentleman on front desk duty was friendly and helpful.
It's a handy base for visiting Jambeli Island. You can park your car in the hotel's own garage and walk to the pier. Breakfast is available for an extra charge. The hotel is one block from the Malecón of Puerto Bolívar, with plenty of nearby places to eat or have fun.

It's one of the better places around, with excellent service and rooms that are clean and well looked after. The beds are new, and the rooms have hot water, cable TV and air-conditioning. It can get a bit noisy, and some days the area feels dangerous.
The attendant and the people looking after the rooms are very friendly. The hotel is really good.
