The rooms were really noisy. You could hear people walking, neighbors snoring and babies crying. Towels were another problem: housekeeping often didn't replenish them, so we'd have to call, or find she'd picked up our wet, dirty ones from the floor and hung them back up. There was even a tip envelope taped to the cabinet. The owner was friendly and tried hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, the room had AC, and breakfast was free. There are a few things to work on, but he's a new owner and doing his best. I'd still highly recommend it.

Very basic rooms, but the service was great. Good location and plenty of hot water in the showers.

I'm rating the restaurant only, not the hostel. The food was OK, but watch the price on the sticky note, it seemed to change depending on the time. When I ordered, breakfast was $6. Then the lady updated the board to $5, but when I paid, they charged me $7. Capitalism mindset 🤮

My room was basic but comfortable, and I had no problems during my three days there. The WiFi didn't work in the room, though it worked well enough in the common area. Breakfast wasn't included, so factor that cost into the price. Also, the front desk isn't open 24 hours. The location is great, but really, everything is within walking distance.

The TV never worked, and no one fixed it. There were ants all over the beds, and there wasn't any way to get drinking water. The office was usually closed, and the people here made us feel like a nuisance.
