Hostal Las Orquideas 2

The shower was only room temperature, not warm or hot as we’d been told, and the sheets weren’t very clean. There was no duvet, just a sheet, and the towel seemed questionable, so I wouldn’t use it. The pillows were mouldy too. The room air was awful and humid. Opening the window meant opening it onto the hallway or lobby, where anyone could come in or see straight into the room. So we couldn’t open it, or fully open the curtains unless we were on the top floor. It was dark as well. There was noise all night. The windows faced the hotel hallway, the receptionist talked loudly on the phone, and people coming, going, or visiting made lots of noise that echoed. Noisy, noisy, noisy.
