I liked the room, the breakfast was good, and the location worked well. There’s an elevator, garage, and pool too, though I didn’t get a chance to use them during my short stay. If you need warm or hot shower water, let reception know right away. The room and other accommodations felt expensive for what you get, especially since nearby hotels offer similar things for less, so I couldn’t give it five stars.

I stayed here for nearly eight months, and it was clean and very well maintained. The staff were great, the breakfast was very good, and every room had A/C. The internet was just okay, though. Every now and then they’d run out of basic things like soft drinks, beer, or even rice, which happened to me once. I learned that’s pretty common in Ecuador, Quito included. I’d still highly recommend the hotel.

We booked two rooms, and one had no hot water. The hotel itself was nice, but didn’t offer much in the way of extras. Then, by coincidence, construction started in the building around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Forget sleeping in if you had plans to.

After I arrived, they asked for more money even though my booking was confirmed as fully paid. They were very aggressive about collecting it, and I paid just to avoid more hassle. I’ll never return, even if it were free.

The room was spotless, and it’s easy to get to restaurants, a bakery, and the beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Bryan.
