Miriam was a big help when I ran into trouble with my debit card. My daughters and I had a private birdwatching tour with Danny, who was very knowledgeable, then tried some light tubing and rafting in Mindo. We had a really good time with Mindo Green. I definitely recommend it!

We went with the San Lorenzo tour in the afternoon, starting at 2:30pm. We couldn’t make the morning outing, but the afternoon one was a delightful experience. Our guide was passionate and wonderful, and we strongly recommend Danny Jumbo.

Danny made birdwatching easy for us, even though we were beginners. In one morning we spotted 44 species, including beautiful tanagers and toucans, and he sent us the list afterward. His ear for birds is excellent, and he often noticed species we would have missed. Everything was well organized, and the equipment was top quality. Danny quickly set up the spotting scope so we could see some of the harder-to-find birds. I’d recommend the tour to anyone visiting Mindo, even with no birding experience.

Mindo is a beautiful town with plenty to do. There are lots of restaurants, plus a butterfly sanctuary, river tubing, and a tram ride high over the jungle. We had a great family visit.
